Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness and supplies of the guest rooms, guest floors, floor stations and storage rooms and to ensure the comfort of all Hotel guests as established by Hotel procedures and standards.
- Be helpful to the guests in a courteous manner at all times, and inform Supervisor or Housekeeping Management of any requests.
- Report any deficiencies, damages, reoccurring problems, missing, broken, stained or burnt items and unusual circumstances to the Supervisor or Housekeeping Management
- Enforce VIP designation procedure in accordance with the Peninsula Service Principles and Standards.
- Forwards any lost and found items to Housekeeping office.
- Adhere to all emergency regulations and Department policies and procedures. Report Floor Supervisor and Inspector directly.
- Actively engages in departmental meetings and training needs, following Peninsula core principles.
General requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in a Luxury Hotel environment with similar standards and expectations.
- Knowledge of using cleaning tools, chemicals, machinery and the ability to provide friendly services to guests
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Must be able to work as part of a team as well as to complete assignments independently, to take instructions from supervisors, and to exercise proper problem-solving skills
- Innovative and a natural organiser, highly detailed and able to engage with guests.
- Turkish communication proficiency, and English as a secondary language is preferred.
