Restaurant Cashier

Key accountabilities

Responsible for accurately process guest transactions, including receiving payments and providing change. Provide total amount due to the guest and accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, or mobile payments. Handle cash transactions efficiently, counting back change accurately. Process discounts, coupons, or promotional offers according to restaurant policies. Reconcile cash drawer with sales totals, ensuring accuracy in accounting. Prepare deposit for any cash collected, following restaurant procedures.

General requirements

Minimum 1 year accounting experience in hospitality- food & beverage environment. Knowledge of accounting procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity is required. Outgoing, flexible, detail oriented.
