QA Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform manual testing across web and mobile platforms to ensure functionality, usability, and performance
• Create and maintain test scenarios and structured test cases
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using frameworks such as Playwright or similar
• Validate completed Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and approve them for release
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and designers to ensure thorough test coverage
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clarity and precision
• Execute and understand various test types including smoke, regression, load, stress, and exploratory testing
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, tools, and automation coverage

What Will Make You Stand Out

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer
• Strong background in manual testing with an understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Knowledge of backend testing using APIs, Postman, or similar tools
• Ability to write clean and maintainable test scripts
• Knowledge of how to select and apply the right test types based on feature and system risks
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a quality-first mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience testing high-traffic, performance-sensitive platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6
• Basic understanding of code and version control systems (like Git)
