Resource Development Lead Engineer | Elazığ
As part of ARY Holding, Eti Krom is one of Türkiye leading chromium producers, producing high-quality chrome ore and ferrochrome through its mining operations.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Resource Development Lead Engineer to join our team in Elazığ.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in mining and exploration geology, geological modeling, and mineral resource estimation.
- Knowledge of JORC and UMREK reporting requirements must and NI 43-101 standards are plus.
- Strong focus on data-driven decision-making; experience in industry-standard geological modeling and resource estimation software, including Leapfrog, Datamine, and Surpac.is a significant asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust through an empathetic and collaborative approach.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to navigate complex situations and provide strategic solutions.
- Exceptional leadership qualities to inspire and mentor team members.
- High proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills for complex analysis,reporting and presentation.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken), capable of working effectively in a business environment.
- Currently residing in or willing to relocate to Elazığ.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the mineral resource estimation process, from geological interpretation to the development of defensible resource models.
- Review and inspect geological models and estimation results, ensuring compatible with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports in accordance with JORC and other relevant industry standards.
- Ensure effective coordination and collaboration between mine planning, mine geology, and exploration teams.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, and workflows to ensure that activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead and audit database teams, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of geological data.
