Sevan Bıçakçı began his apprenticeship at the Grand Bazaar at the age of 12 and launched his brand in 2001. Since then, the Sevan Bıçakçı brand has been crafting one-of-a-kind jewelry. In addition to several flagship stores, the brand showcases its designs in renowned stores worldwide. The brand has six stores located in Miami, Zorlu Center, Galataport, Grand Bazaar, Ankara, and Bodrum. Bıçakçı's workshop also serves as a platform for creative talents from other fields, and he firmly believes in the value of collaborative processes. The jeweler draws inspiration from Istanbul's historical and environmental heritage and has won the Couture Designer Award, one of the world's most prestigious jewelry prizes, seven times.
About The Role
We are currently seeking to hire jewellery sales professionals for our boutiques in Istanbul. As a jewellery sales professional, you will be expected to assist customers in a warm and professional manner to create a memorable experience. You will be responsible for achieving both quantitative and qualitative sales goals while fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Requirements
- To be considered for this position, you must have prior experience in jewellery or premium retail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, social, and networking skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for sales.
- A keen sense of etiquette and aesthetics.
- Empathy towards customers, with excellent personalised client management skills.
- A good command of English. Knowledge of another language, especially Arabic or Russian, is a plus.
- Being a team player with a positive and constructive approach.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand ambassador and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the brand and its products to customers.
- Achieve personal sales goals by providing high-quality service to customers.
- Build a repeat clientele and maintain customer relationships.
- Operate the retail management system correctly for stock transfers, payments, stock enquiries, and customer database inputs.
