Mechanical Supervisor

Nordex Group, a globally leading international wind turbine manufacturer operating in many countries around the world, is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our field operations teams in various project sites in Turkey. In this role, you will work with our mobile teams to support ongoing project processes in different cities across Turkey.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and regulations
• Providing the required quantity and quality of mechanical work according to relevant instructions
• Timely completion of the commissioning process for wind turbines
• Guiding subcontractors involved in installation and completion work
• Checking for correct electrical installations
• Initiating corrective measures to rectify faults and overseeing their implementation by subcontractors
• Checking the accuracy and completeness of field-related reports
• Collecting and transmitting technical specifications
• Reporting on the status of field activities
• Conducting field quality control, including reporting
• Actively participating in field meetings (toolbox talk)
• Reporting faulty or missing parts to the site manager for replacement

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics or related field
• Deep knowledge and experience in Low and Medium Voltage
• Several years of professional experience in electrical field in wind farms and in-depth technical knowledge of wind turbines
• Good English language skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to make clear decisions and focus on results
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within a team or lead a team
• Willingness to travel without restrictions
• Comfortable working at heights
• Prepared for travel
• International driving license
• Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office
