Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a Power Trader to join our growing trading team with a focus on the CWE region countries, primarily Germany, and other selected European electricity markets. The successful candidate will actively participate in Day-Ahead and Intraday trading activities, working closely with traders, analysts, and IT experts to maximize performance and explore new opportunities as we expand across Europe.

Job Description

1. Execute trades in Day-Ahead and Intraday markets across Europe (Primarily Germany/CWE region)
2. Monitor and analyze market fundamentals, grid conditions, and price developments in real time
3. Contribute to the development of trading strategies and identify new business opportunities
4. Support shift-based trading operations and contribute to 24/7 coverage when required
5. Collaborate with our IT and data teams to improve digital tools and explore algorithmic trading opportunities
6. Proactively follow regulatory updates and identify how they impact trading strategies
7. Engage in internal knowledge-sharing and cross-functional cooperation

Qualifications

1. At least 2–3 years of experience in the European Power Market (or 4–5 years in the Turkish market)
2. Strong understanding of power market value chains and price drivers
3. Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach and eagerness to learn
4. Fluent in English (German or other European languages are a plus)
5. Proficiency in MS Office tools; knowledge of Python, SQL, or other programming languages is a plus
6. Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and willingness to work in shifts
7. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
