ING Analytics

ING Analytics is a new unit responsible for realizing this vision for ING, differentiating ING as a leader in data-driven organization, within the banking sector and beyond. The team consists of a number of Global Analytics Centre of Excellences around the bank's key capabilities (such as Pricing, Risk Management, Financial Crime, Customer Intelligence and People Analytics.) as well as strong coordination areas around data management, technology, customer journey, UX, as well as external partnerships.

COO Analytics- Customer Dialogue Analytics

You will be part of the COO Analytics Tribe, which delivers generative AI, AI and advanced analytics capabilities to all ING countries.

Specifically, you will help create innovative scalable data-driven solutions in the space of Customer Dialogue Analytics. You proactively work with teams to implement these solutions across the organization. You will work collaboratively with an extended group of stakeholders, including global and local Retail Contact Center teams.

Your mission will be to ensure the improvement of our products with a team and support all ING countries in reaching their targets by providing smart advanced analytics solutions, to strengthen ING leadership in digitalization & support our 40 million customers.

Role Profile

Among others, INGA delivers call & speech analytics, generative AI in risk summarization, insights into portfolio performance, advanced ESG data insights (commercial purposes), data analytics platforms (cloud and on-premises), and many more.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a customer journey expert with focus on Model Ethics & Governance to join us. In this role, you will help create innovative scalable AI solutions in the space of Financial Crime. You proactively work with teams to implement these solutions across the organization. You will work collaboratively with an extended group of stakeholders, including global and local KYC teams, but also Operations, Delivery, Data, Compliance, Legal and Corporate Audit. You will be responsible for leading our project portfolio, driving business development, translating business requests into data requirements (and vice versa), pushing forward change initiatives and bringing transformation in the area of Financial Crime (Transaction Monitoring and Customer Due Diligence). You will be the sparring partner to (senior) Management and stakeholders. You will work with a specialized team to deliver scalable data products, building out our team's capability to a mature Tribe within ING. As your focus is Model Ethics and Governance, you will also be responsible for working closely with Model Ethics & Governance teams in ING and standardizing the process across space of Financial Crime.

About you

  1. You work closely with Model Risk Management & Governance stakeholders, to make sure our products and services comply with model risk management standards and regulation (50%)
  2. Focus on protecting Customers and ING
  3. You have a vision on how to detect, assess and ultimately prevent Financial Crime using advanced Analytics models, in the customer due diligence domain.
  4. Focus on Stakeholders
  5. You support offering advanced analytics solutions by seamless integration into the value chain of our internal stakeholders and by connecting it with other internal and external capabilities
  6. You coordinate the contribution of supporting teams (such as data management, compliance, etc)
  7. You support the development, implementation and communication of the roadmap and strategy
  8. You define business requirements for the development of Analytics products and services in the Transaction Monitoring and Customer Due Diligence (Financial Crime) scope
  9. You have understanding of client needs, digitization and APIs, bridging IT and business
  10. Focus on Delivery
  11. You support the Product Lead and Tribe Lead in the responsibility to manage the overall P&L for the COO Analytics tribe by integrating this in your daily work and priority setting
  12. You manage and prioritize the backlog at the level of epics, in line with ING's Agile way of working
  13. You apply your experience in supporting to build and manage the products with an end-to-end mindset, including design, implementation and business operations and services

  16. You can explain complex analytical solutions in an understandable way to senior stakeholders (birds-eye view)
  17. You are a pro-active thinker

How to succeed

  1. Background in Model Ethics, Responsible AI, Model Governance is a plus
  2. Minimal 5 years of working experience in applying analytics in a business environment
  3. Proven experience in delivering tangible business impact, familiarity with tools and technologies used in data analytics is a plus.
  4. Excellent level of English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with global and local stakeholders
  5. Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure efficient project delivery and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

You have a curious mindset; you are collaborative and passionate about helping others to grow and improve.

Experience/affinity with anti-money laundering services or fraud is a plus

Experience in product management is a plus
