Sarus | Kripto, a growing and innovative cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a highly motivated Junior Trader to join our trading team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about markets, cryptocurrencies, and data-driven decision-making. The Junior Trader will assist in executing trades, monitoring market trends, and optimizing trading strategies under the guidance of senior traders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor cryptocurrency trades based on pre-approved strategies.
  • Analyze market data and identify trading opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain and update trading reports and records in real-time.
  • Assist in developing and testing trading algorithms and risk management tools.
  • Work closely with senior traders to improve performance and strategy implementation.
  • Monitor and manage risk exposures, ensuring adherence to trading limits and policies.
  • Stay informed about global market news, trends, and events affecting cryptocurrency markets.
  • Collaborate with the operations and treasury teams to ensure efficient trade settlements and account management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in trading, finance, or a related field (internship experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for financial markets.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and trading platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL) are a plus.
