We are looking for a "Testing Specialist" in Hitachi Energy at Kartal Factory - Istanbul, who is eager to contribute to the change with a continuous improvement mindset and inspire people in the organization in order to reach the level of 'World Class Manufacturing' necessities with the qualifications below.
How you'll make an impact
- Performing the routine, type and special acceptance tests and preparing the test reports of power transformers according to international standards and customer specifications.
- Work on Test laboratory Investment.
- Inspection of customer specifications and determination of requirements.
- Following up on the calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
- Preparing the transformer test programs and test laboratory schedules.
- Support the activities of the site team for field tests and commissioning.
- Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
- Knowledge and experience about ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Laboratory Management System to support and ensure management system requirements.
Your background
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, MSc degree in engineering is preferred.
- Preferably 1-3 years of experience in Transformer testing engineering fields.
- Adaptability to work in 2 shift operations and 6 days a week.
- Very good command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Having experience in Quality & Laboratory Management Systems.
- Having experience in measuring equipment and calibration.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, action-oriented, motivated, attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and flexibility.
- Adaptable to flexible working hours-based test program.
- Adapting to relocation: The company will move to Dilovası, Gebze in one year.
- Completed military service for male applicants.
