Accountant / Buchhalter

Derschutze is a fast-growing international fashion brand, known for its high-quality embroidered streetwear. With stores in the UK and the US, we are expanding our finance team in Istanbul (Bayrampaşa) and looking for a skilled German-speaking Accountant.

Responsibilities

Accounting for Germany:

• Handle bookkeeping, financial reports, and tax compliance for our German operations.
• Communicate with German tax authorities and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with German accounting regulations (HGB, VAT filings, etc.).

Accounting for the UK & US:

• Manage financial transactions, invoicing, and reconciliations for UK & US branches.
• Work with external accountants and legal teams for tax reporting.
• Support budgeting and financial planning across multiple locations.

General Accounting Duties:

• Process accounts payable & receivable, payroll, and monthly reconciliations.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Optimize financial workflows and support audits when needed.

Requirements

• Fluent in German (to handle accounting for Germany)
• Fluent in English (to communicate with our UK & US teams)
• 3+ years of experience in international accounting
• Strong knowledge of German VAT, tax laws, and financial regulations
• Experience with accounting software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fashion brand environment
