Laboratory Analyst

Job Description: Our company is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to assist with laboratory analyses, sample preparation, water analysis, polymer solution preparation, and the shipping of samples. In this position, we are looking for a team member who will carry out laboratory processes meticulously and ensure the accurate delivery of samples.

Required Qualifications

1. Education: University degree in Chemistry or two year degree in Chemistry.
2. Experience: At least 1-3 years of laboratory experience.
3. Technical Skills:
   1. Experience with analytical devices and laboratory software
   2. Ability to prepare samples, perform analyses, and report results
4. Personal Attributes:
   1. Strong attention to detail, meticulous, and disciplined work ethic
   2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
   3. Good written and verbal communication skills
   4. Ability to work well in teams and independently
   5. Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
   6. Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks
   7. Knowledge of analytical techniques and cause-effect research skills
   8. No military obligation for male candidates
5. Other Requirements:
   1. Proficiency in MS Office application
   2. Must reside in Istanbul (Asian side), preferably in Pendik or Tuzla

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform analysis of water samples in the laboratory environment and determine whether the test results fall within the correct limits
2. Prepare polymer solutions in accordance with established procedures
3. Prepare samples for various analyses, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed thoroughly
4. Properly package prepared samples and ship them to the relevant laboratories or customers within the specified timeframe
5. Conduct various analyses and accurately record and report the results
6. Collaborate with the laboratory team to support processes and contribute to process improvements
7. Regularly maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, manage shipping and other support activities, and propose solutions in case of disruptions
8. Perform analyses in compliance with quality management systems such as ISO, GMP, and GLP, ensuring all processes meet quality standards
