Amazon (Philippines) Finance Operations department seeks a bright, articulated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Financial Analyst to play an important role in the Accounts Payable Financial Operations Team in Manila, Philippines. This is an AP Analyst (Korean Speaking) position which will focus on Accounts Payable with a strong emphasis on paying suppliers on time and all related activities in order to achieve this mission. Furthermore, this position will also support process improvement, controller-ship policies, and procedures.
Key Job Responsibilities- Process invoices from Amazon corporate vendors in financial system
- Troubleshoot invoice discrepancies
- Analyze and report metrics to management
- Participate in Operational Excellence activities such as Kaizen/Green Belt
A day in the life: This position manually processes invoices for Corp critical vendors across different countries under the APAC region (excl. IN) in PHL site as recovery site for BCP T0 process-Critical Vendor Invoice Processing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- B.S. or B.A. in Finance / Accounting.
- Fluent in both written and spoken business English.
- Ability to read and write English business emails.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Internal and external customer focus and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to deep dive while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while supporting multiple competing priorities.
2+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience.
