We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to work at Şişecam Glass Packaging Plant in Yenişehir/Bursa.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate from the Engineering Faculty or having OHS Master's Degree
  • Having B Class OHS Certificate at least
  • Having one of the OHS Certificates with International Validity (NEBOSH / IOSH) is an advantage
  • Experienced in machinery, equipment and risk analysis
  • Skilled and good team player
  • High sense of responsibility, open to research, learning, and education
  • Good communication and persuasion skills, high motivation
  • Ability to communicate with different cultures and societies
  • Experienced in heavy industry
  • Good MS knowledge (Word/Excel)
  • Good command of written and spoken English
Job Description
  • Deploy the Şişecam OHS strategy policy and standard in Turkey to achieve excellent sustainable results in Health & Safety.
  • Monitor Health & Safety Legal compliance and ensure the organization's needs are met.
  • Perform necessary regulatory preventive actions by conducting risk assessment analyses and supporting Emergency Management activities.
  • Develop and carry out "Safety Culture Projects" within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Plan and conduct training to improve the competence and awareness of employees on OHS.
  • Check that subcontractor works in the factory area are carried out in accordance with occupational health and safety.
  • Conduct field inspections, determine nonconformities in Occupational Safety issues, and cooperate with relevant departments for solutions.
  • Manage and control Occupational Safety management System (ISO 45001) standards.
  • Improve the experience of all stakeholders by increasing their life quality and economic welfare in line with the mission, vision, and values.
  • Ensure a healthy, safe, and well-being environment for employees and workplace.
