Internal Audit Specialist

What Do We Expect from You?

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in internal audit or external audit (preferably Big Four),
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems or other relevant disciplines,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and collaborative team-player skills,
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analytics will be considered as an asset,
• Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems is preferred,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to conduct audit interviews, prepare professional audit reports and communicate effectively with international stakeholders,
• Additional foreign language (Arabic, Russian language) skills will be considered an asset,
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to domestic and international operations,
• CIA certificate is an asset.

Basic Functions:

• Perform operational, financial and compliance audit engagements in line with the annual audit plan both in Turkey and abroad,
• Identify key risks and controls within business processes, review and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of overall internal controls, governance, and risk management,
• Assess compliance of operational and financial activities with the laws, regulations, company strategy, policy/procedures during the audit engagements,
• Report audit findings and develop value-added recommendations to mitigate risks and improve internal controls and processes,
• Conduct follow up audits to ensure that management actions are implemented adequately and timely,
• Prepare and organize audit working papers with adequate documentation,
• Performs requested ad hoc audits and assists in special investigations and fraud audits.
