We are looking for a motivated and analytically minded Production Planning Engineer to join our manufacturing facility located in Ergene, Tekirdağ.

This role will be responsible for preparing and monitoring production plans, managing work orders and material requirements, following customer orders through SAP, and coordinating closely with Production, Sales, and Dispatch teams to support timely and efficient manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and solution-focused engineering professional with hands-on production planning experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor daily and weekly production schedules for manufacturing departments
  • Create, release, and follow up on production work orders in SAP
  • Monitor raw material requirements and availability to ensure continuity of production
  • Track customer orders in the system and follow their progress throughout the production process
  • Implement required system revisions in line with requests received from the Sales team
  • Review daily production reports and compare actual production results against planned targets
  • Plan and monitor outsourced production processes
  • Conduct capacity analyses and support the effective allocation of production resources
  • Identify production bottlenecks and collaborate with relevant departments to develop effective solutions
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and operational efficiency
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of available resources
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Dispatch teams regarding customer requirements and delivery priorities
  • Support the achievement of production planning targets in line with operational priorities and delivery commitments
  • Prepare and maintain production planning reports and relevant system records

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience using SAP in production planning processes
  • Preferably experienced in the aluminium, metal, or a similar industrial manufacturing sector
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of production planning, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and order management
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational abilities
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Residing or willing to reside in Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Ergene, Tekirdağ city center, or Lüleburgaz
