Sales and Business Development Specialist

We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Specialist for our COMMODITY GROUP department.

Qualifications

  • University degree in related fields of reputable university (preferably graduated from Chemistry departments)
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in Export/Import Industry (Preferably Chemical or Metal)
  • Experienced in customs regulation, familiarity with incoterms and International Trade activities
  • Fluency in English is a MUST (speaking/reading/writing)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applicants (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
  • Adaptable in the workplace; being open to new ideas and concepts, able to work for multinational company, ability to work with people from different departments/relevant offices or backgrounds, willing to change approach if necessary to reach business goals.
  • Flexible; willing to take on different tasks, responsibilities, or perspectives depending on the situation and the team's goals.
  • Being results-oriented; focusing on achieving specific outcomes and goals, prioritizing measurable results, and actively working toward success.
  • Team player with good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Job Description

  • Work for Commodity Group covering Chemical, Metal & Aluminium and Textile Raw Materials
  • Follow current business activities, customer relations and sales activities
  • Search potential customers, create new accounts and develop new business opportunities, in coordination with overseas office.
  • Negotiate and finalize the contract with clients
  • Support Sales Team for other tasks that may be required
