The role:

We are expanding and we are seeking a talented, Turkish speaking, experienced Director with experience of working in distressed environments for our team. As a Restructuring Director at A&M, you will have the opportunity to drive the changes that preserve and create value, impacting some of the EMEA's most recognized organizations and their employees.

You will have the opportunity to work across all phases and aspects of operational restructuring and turnaround initiatives. You will stabilise core operations by formulating and managing turnaround plans and negotiating with senior management and other key stakeholders. Working day-to-day alongside our clients, you will develop an in-depth understanding of their business, financial position and key operational performance drivers.

A successful Restructuring Director will be experienced in addressing businesses critical issues at speed and will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, outcome focused entrepreneur who is addicted to making an impact, determined to make a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

A&M advise on every aspect of the restructuring process – from the strategy to cash conservation/liquidity management, to business plan development and implementation – providing you with a wide range of experiences and projects.

• Stakeholder reporting on PMO cost saving initiatives

Ideally, a Director will be able to successfully identify client needs and win client trust. Ultimately, the successful appointee will be recognized by the client as the lead for value contributed on engagements and therefore build his/her own credible network of contacts and referral sources with clients, professionals and institutions. Additionally, the Director will lead and guide less experienced colleagues, fostering their professional growth and strengthening the overall team capability.

Requirement:

• Proven expertise in Restructuring & Turnaround gained in a major advisory firm, ideally combined with hands-on experience working with operational and finance teams within distressed organisations;
• Strong financial and analytical skill set, including business plan development, financial projections, ratio analysis, and business plan modelling;
• Experience in liquidity management and cash conservation, with the ability to rapidly assess a company's immediate and future cash needs, product profitability, cost structure, major operational issues, market position, and restructuring options;
• Demonstrable experience in delivering complex projects with exceptional stakeholder management, e.g. including negotiations with banks, trade unions, and suppliers, as well as entity closures and asset divestments;
• Robust understanding of insolvency regimes and labour council negotiations;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an objective, fact-based approach to problem-solving;
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
• Fluency in Turkish and English is essential; additional European languages are highly useful.
