General Labourer, Cold Lake

Overview

Fountain Tire Cold Lake (4001 50 St.), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a General Labourer

You will be responsible for:

• Pickup and delivery of required parts to ensure the efficient operation of the business
• Picking up and dropping off customer vehicles at site locations
• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous tire/automotive industry experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
