Located in the heart of Karaköy, a historic district in Istanbul, The Peninsula Istanbul is a luxurious hotel that offers stunning views of the Bosphorus waterfront. Our hotel is part of the Galataport revitalization project, which aims to showcase vibrant Turkish culture and provide exceptional hospitality.
We are seeking a highly skilled Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a Dry Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for receiving and delivering guest items on time, accurately, and professionally. You will also inspect all laundry before and after cleaning for dirt, stains, damage, and quality of ironing/folding.
The successful candidate will have minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment with similar standards and expectations. They should possess knowledge of fabrics, cleaning tools, chemicals, machine operation, and the ability to provide friendly service to guests.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and deliver guest items on time, accurately, and professionally
- Inspect all laundry before and after cleaning for dirt, stains, damage, and quality of ironing/folding
- Keep the guest laundry room shelves organized and clean
- Ensure that all items are hung, folded, and stored properly in their designated places
