We are seeking a Banking Attorney to join our team at Bank of China Turkey A.Ş.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing corporate governance matters, including but not limited to the preparation of board meetings, general assemblies, and committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate governance matters, including the preparation of board meetings, general assemblies, and committee meetings.
  • Legal Services: Provide a wide range of legal services and advice on matters related to the bank's operations.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate the legal impact of major decisions and identify areas of risk to recommend improvements.
  • Contractual Documents: Draft, review, and maintain records of agreements and contractual documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Law is required, with a Master's degree being an advantage.
  • License: The ideal candidate must be a licensed attorney registered at the Istanbul Bar Association.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of corporate legal experience in an international professional environment or a reputable law firm with multinational clients is required.
  • Skills: Excellent command of English, proficiency in MS Office applications, strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
