Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital plans and provides professional nursing care to patients based on physician orders and established guidelines. This role is defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.


Qualifications

We require applicants to have:

  1. A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  2. Licensure as a RN in the State of Georgia without limitations.
  3. Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

We prefer applicants with:

  1. A BSN degree.
  2. Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  3. Additional Life Support credential or clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours

8:30am-5:00pm
