Responsibilities

As a Histotechnician at Skin Path Solutions, an affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, you will be responsible for maintaining and utilizing quality control procedures to verify accuracy of procedures and equipment. You will also process, embed, section, stain, and coverslip all tissue for routine and special stains as requested.

  • Maintain accurate records of processed tissue cassettes and slides with accession numbers for each patient.
  • Perform quality control on equipment and notify the manager of any malfunctions.
  • Maintain the laboratory and immediate work area in a clean and organized manner.
