About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Software Engineer to join our team in Payment Products Management. This role is responsible for defining the Payment Products Technology strategy, leading implementation of new technologies, and guiding the team in breaking down projects and translating requirements into roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the Payment Products Technology strategy in line with Fibabanka's overall and technology vision,
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies and innovative solutions within the bank,
  • Guide the team in breaking down projects and translating requirements into roadmaps,
  • Support the team with technical design decisions when needed,
  • Ensure designs and programs created comply with design library guidelines, internal best practices, and coding conventions when applicable,
  • Manage the resolution of production incidents or defects as needed, and proactively identify potential production issues before they appear in the production environment,
  • Deliver solutions on time and identify and eliminate potential waste,
  • Participate in technical discussions and bring new ideas on the table,
  • Review new feature impact on an application and recognize potential risks,

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Payment Products field with 6+ years of hands-on experience in development especially on Credit, Debit, Prepaid Cards issuing and POS&ATM acquiring. They will also be experienced with system integration, and have knowledge of SDLC, Scrum, Kanban or Lean Agile Methodologies, Grafana, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, .Net core and Java Spring, Banking as a service and Microservice architecture, and SQL.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electric-Electronic, Mathematical Engineering or a related quantitative discipline,
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral; able to communicate effectively across a broad base,
  • Inquisitive nature and a passion to learn about new Technologies and methodologies,
  • Detail oriented, logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving attitude,
  • Responsive to service needs and operational demands,
  • Team player, solid collaboration skills, highly motivated, possesses a positive work attitude,
