Job Description: As a Human Resources Specialist - Classification Expert, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on classification and position management principles, concepts, practices, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement position classification plans and strategies.
2. Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in position management.
3. Provide training and guidance to employees on classification and position management procedures.
4. Conduct research to stay up-to-date on classification and position management best practices.

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field, or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
• At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.
• Knowledge of classification and position management concepts, principles, methods, practices, programs, and techniques.
