Qualifications and Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, pre-skills, and/or abilities needed to perform this job.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or as an in-house attorney, preferably within the manufacturing industry and handling product liability claims/litigation.
  • In-depth understanding of legal principles, including those related to product liability, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management, co-workers, and subordinates.
