Aircraft Mechanic Role Overview

This role focuses on ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of aircraft systems and components.
  • Conducting pre-flight inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Repairing and replacing aircraft parts as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
  • Collaborating with other technicians to achieve team goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in aviation mechanics and have experience working on King Air series aircraft.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) A&P Certificate.
  2. Previous experience conducting maintenance on King Air series aircraft.
  3. Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English fluently.
  4. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver around aircraft.
  • Capacity to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions.
