About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. You'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and test suites, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, and execute automated test scripts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  3. Analyze complex software systems and identify opportunities for automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
  4. Execute automated test scripts, report defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  5. Monitor and maintain test automation environments, ensuring their stability and reliability.
  6. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and methodologies for test automation.
  7. Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance the QA process.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  9. Contribute to the overall QA strategy and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into the build process.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable but not required.
