Derivatives Assistant

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Treasury Operations Assistant Specialist. This role is ideal for those who want to develop their skills in financial operations and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the control and approval of Options and Derivatives transactions executed by Global Markets, ensuring accurate post-trade processing and trade matching.
• Maintain the settlement and collateral processes for transactions conducted via Borsa Istanbul and Takasbank, guaranteeing timely and efficient completion.
• Identify and mitigate margin call risks associated with derivatives products held by clients with CSA agreements.
• Process affirmations and confirmations with customers, verifying transaction accuracy and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Verify that all transactions are correctly recorded in Treasury Front Office and Back office systems, ensuring seamless data synchronization.
• Prepare reports and facilitate money transfers related to foreign currency nostro account cash flows.
• Generate TRY payment messages accurately, reconciling them with Central Bank records to prevent errors.
• Execute accounting and reserve payments as required by TCMB and TMSF, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the IT team to identify business requirements and propose enhancements for existing and new products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (4 years minimum).
• Excellent command of English language.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fundamental knowledge of Treasury products.
• Capital Markets Board Certificate Level 1.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross-culturally, possessing a collaborative and inclusive mindset.
• Capacity to drive performance under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and delivering results efficiently.
