We are seeking an experienced Operational Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production planning department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, forecast, and inventory levels.

You will serve as the primary point of contact between production, order fulfillment, logistics, and sales teams regarding production planning and scheduling. Your goal will be to provide the optimum delivery dates for customer orders and quotations.

Your responsibilities will include determining resource requirements, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet production goals and ensuring that all resources are available and allocated efficiently.

You will assess production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks, developing plans to address capacity constraints and ensure smooth production flow.

Additionally, you will analyze production performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, production delays, or material delays.
