Automotive Software Engineer

We seek an experienced Embedded Software Developer to develop a virtualized ECU solution for software development, integration, testing, and validation of Autonomous Driving functions. This individual will work closely with our international team of Agile Software Developers to create a comprehensive solution.

The main tasks of this position involve:

  • Embedded SW Integration for functional, regression, and scenario-based testing
  • VECU software development and integration for Simics and QEMU environment (Virtualization and Emulation)
  • Orchestration of virtual ECU components using container and VM technology
  • SW build and configuration including CI/CD pipeline configuration
  • Participation in software architecture design, development of software applications, and integration into enterprise systems

This role demands strong experience in C embedded and Python programming languages, as well as knowledge/experience on Computer Networks, Linux-based OS, and architectural dependencies of technologies in customer's analytic environments. Proficiency in debugging low-level binary code and effective communication/presentation skills are essential for success.

A solid academic foundation in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field, combined with good understanding of object-oriented programming and design, is necessary for this position. Experience with QEMU, QNX, multi-threading, and other OS concepts, as well as batch and shell scripting, bus systems CAN, LIN, SomeIP, FlexRay, and automotive industry experience are highly valued.
