Senior Investment Officer Opportunity

International Finance Corporation is seeking a skilled Senior Investment Officer to join its Financial Institutions Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of emerging markets by financing and advising private sector companies in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify business opportunities
  • Work with clients to identify value-added services and improve the quality of investments
  • Supervise the collection of lessons learned from the portfolio and recommend improvements to business development and transaction structuring
  • Contribute to market creation approaches and interventions for the financial sector in the MCT region
  • Collaborate with IFC, World Bank, and MIGA to support business development for IDA PSW and blended finance facilities

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record in business consulting or investment banking, as well as operational experience in the sector
  • Capacity to understand market creation opportunities, lead negotiations, and build long-term engagement with clients
  • Ability to synthesize and present information effectively and tailor it to different audiences
