Responsibilities:- Develop engaging 3D animations for characters, objects, and environments that meet our artistic and technical vision.
- Collaborate closely with 3D artists and developers to integrate animations seamlessly into the game.
- Optimize animations for real-time performance in Unity or Unreal Engine, adhering to project requirements.
- Support rigging and skinning tasks when necessary, contributing to the overall quality of our animations.
- Participate in reviews and iterations to refine animation quality and ensure alignment with project goals.
To excel in this role, you will require:
- At least one year of experience in 3D animation (internship or academic projects considered).
- Proficiency in Blender or other industry-standard 3D animation tools.
- A solid understanding of animation principles such as timing, weight, and anticipation.
- Basic knowledge of rigging and skinning techniques.
- Experience working in a game engine, preferably Unity.
- A Bachelor's degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with motion capture cleanup and retargeting.
- Basic scripting knowledge for animation implementation.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
