In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales within our gallery. You will also stay up-to-date on art market trends and industry developments, ensuring our continued success in the competitive art market.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with clients in a professional and courteous manner
  2. Provide expert advice on artists, artworks, and exhibitions
  3. Assist clients in selecting artworks that meet their preferences and budget
  4. Educate clients about art techniques, styles, and trends
  5. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  6. Stay informed about current art market trends and industry developments
  7. Drive sales growth and achieve ambitious sales targets

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in an art gallery or similar setting
  2. Passion for art and a strong understanding of different artistic styles and movements
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Fluency in both Turkish and Business English at an advanced level, both spoken and written, is essential. Proficiency in any additional languages is a plus
  5. Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Office suite, and point-of-sale systems
  6. Knowledge of Artlogic, Artnet, Artsy, Shopify, and Instagram databases
  7. Familiarity with social media marketing and promotion
  8. Basic computer skills and ability to multitask
