Job Description:

This is a key management role responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the county Agri-civic Center. The successful candidate will develop, direct, and manage year-round programs involving various community, cultural, or special events.

The individual in this position will work under the general direction of the Assistant County Administrator and be evaluated through meetings, reports, and assessment of results.

  • Develops and administers a diverse schedule of activities and events to meet public needs.
  • Oversees the organization and conduct of community programs and activities, including space, facilities, and administrative services.
  • Manages the county Agri-civic Center facility and associated projects, providing leadership and direction in marketing and operating plans.
  • Promotes interest in the facility and associated programs through publicity, program development, community groups, public contacts, and special interest groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field.
  • At least two years of business and/or marketing experience.
  • Strong community relations experience.
