We are seeking a personal care assistant to join our team at HomeWell Care Services, Inc. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate support to seniors and individuals in need of personalized assistance.

About the Position

This is a fulfilling career opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a personal care assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing companionship and social interaction to prevent loneliness and isolation
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Light cooking and cleaning to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Transportation for appointments and errands to ensure access to essential services
  • Medication reminders and assistance with medication management

Requirements:

  • 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and families
  • Reliable transportation and proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance (if transporting clients)
  • Physical ability to perform duties of the position
  • Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable attitude
  • Criminal background check and drug screen (required)
