About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Getinge. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze purchasing requests, manage processes, and ensure that open orders are delivered on time and correctly.

Key qualifications include:

  • Graduates of universities in Economics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
  • At least 5+ years of experience in procurement and financial processes, preferably in IT procurement
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Preferably knows how to use Ariba program

Job Responsibilities

As a Procurement Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing purchasing requests and managing processes to ensure timely delivery
  • Preparing, tracking, and finalizing necessary documentation for purchases
  • Ensuring supplier diversity and researching prices for each material and service
  • Researching alternative suppliers, obtaining, and evaluating quotations
  • Preparing periodic reports on procurement details and budgets
  • Entering all activities into the system, ensuring they are documented according to company quality procedures and processes
  • Developing and managing a supplier portfolio
  • Overseeing the purchase of office-related supplies
  • Handling procurement of employee benefits
  • Planning and managing procurement, leasing, maintenance, insurance, and other operational needs of the company's vehicle fleet
  • Ensuring regular tracking of processes related to the vehicle fleet, office rentals, and office supplies
  • Coordinating with the accounting department to manage invoicing and payment processes for procurement transactions
  • Taking part in global projects related to purchasing processes
  • Conducting transparent and accountable purchasing processes in line with company policies and ethical rules
