Cybersecurity Governance Manager

Koç University is a leading institution in higher education, committed to academic excellence and innovation. Our IT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Team Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital assets.

We are seeking an experienced IT GRC Team Leader to lead, mentor, and develop our team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will allocate resources effectively to meet GRC objectives and deadlines, act as a subject matter expert on IT GRC-related topics, and oversee compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

• Lead the IT GRC team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective management of risk and compliance initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall security posture of Koç University.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Manage IT audits, including internal and external audits, and coordinate responses to findings.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security sector.
• Preferably having ISO27001 LA Certificate.
• Experienced preferably in SIEM and Log Analysis.
• Competent preferably in COBIT, ITIL and ISO 27001 processes.
• Excellent command of English.
