Cybersecurity Strategist

BiLira is a leading FinTech venture based in İstanbul, Turkey. Our core technology TRYB is a stable cryptocurrency pegged 1-to-1 to the Turkish Lira and is one of the largest non-USD stablecoins by market cap.

We are looking for a skilled Information Security Manager to develop and implement our company's security processes and strategies. This role will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and reliability of our security posture, managing security risks, and enhancing our overall security framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Comprehensive Security Processes: Design and implement security processes and strategies aligned with company objectives.
2. Manage Security Operations: Oversee SIEM, Firewall, IDS, IPS, Antivirus, XDR, DLP, Mail GW, Cloud Security, NAC, EDR, and PAM systems.
3. Examine and Resolve Security Risks: Identify, resolve, and manage security risks across the organization.
4. Participate in Penetration Testing: Actively participate in penetration testing processes, including reporting and remediation.
5. Maintain Network Infrastructure: Develop and maintain necessary processes and procedures for securing network infrastructures.
6. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security measures into all aspects of the business.
7. Lead Security Team: Lead and manage the security team, ensuring effective planning, organization, and coordination.
8. Stay Updated: Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies, particularly in blockchain security.
9. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar information security management role.
3. Preferred Experience: Experience in brokerage firms or cryptocurrency exchanges.
4. Skills: Strong knowledge of networks and systems, experience with Security Operations Centers (SOC), familiarity with Amazon Cloud and other cloud infrastructures.
5. Leadership Skills: Proven ability in team management, planning, organization, and coordination.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Blockchain Expertise: Eager to develop expertise in blockchain technologies security.
