Histotechnician (Scientific Specialist)

We are seeking a highly skilled Histotechnician to join our team at Anne Arundel Dermatology. As a Histotechnician, you will be responsible for processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and coverslipping tissue samples for routine and special stains.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining the highest standards of quality control, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work. You will also be required to accurately label tissue cassettes and slides with accession numbers and file all paraffin blocks and slides accordingly.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the laboratory and immediate work area in a clean and organized manner, performing quality control checks on equipment, and notifying the lab manager of any malfunctions.
