The Role
We're looking for an Assistant Finance Manager – Category Finance IC who will lead S&OP cycles, innovations, big and small, that will make our business win and grow. You'll work closely with the business teams to ensure growth and enable them to meet their financial goals. You'll actively lead efforts to find opportunities and implement solutions to improve the financial performance of the business.

Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing and coordinating all financial plans, ensuring full P&L responsibility in driving financial performance, including Overheads;
  • Managing month-end closing, forecasting, and reporting activities, following up on actions for financial performance;
  • Supporting and partnering with the business teams in business modeling, P&L forecasts, competitor benchmarking, savings;
  • Providing support in the areas of Gross Margin (GM), Pricing, Return on Media Investment (ROMI), market development amongst others;
  • Developing business cases in collaboration with brand teams as well as the Research & Development (R&D) and Consumer & Market Insight (CMI) communities, driving post-launch intervention.


Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Education and Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields is required. At least 4 years of experience in Finance such as Management Reporting, Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Budget Management, Financial Audit is preferred.

Skills and Abilities
You'll need strong analytical capabilities with bias to drive action. Good understanding on finance process and operations is essential. Advanced skills in Excel, and good knowledge of SAP and OLAP are necessary. Excellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills are required. Business Partnering, Budgeting & Forecasting, Understanding internal control are all crucial skills for this role. An enterprising and inquisitive nature that can find solutions to complex problems is a must. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with & lead cross-functional team is also necessary. Advanced English is required.
