Shipbuilding Expert

We are seeking an experienced Shipbuilding Expert to join our team in Istanbul. As a Senior Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of surveying processes.

• Apply in-depth knowledge of maritime Rules and Regulations to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
• Conduct routine surveys on classed ships, platforms, or marine structures to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of survey findings and results.
• Lead and coordinate various phases of surveying work, providing guidance and training to junior surveyors as needed.
• Engage with clients to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of problems.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of surveying practices and procedures.

• Minimum 7 years' experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society.
• Understanding of RINA's strategic technical positioning in the sector of the marine industry.
• Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services, and future work.
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of RINA Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions.
• Knowledge of ship engineering systems and machinery.
• Knowledge of computer programs or software packages related to job responsibilities.
