Brok Games is a pioneering game studio dedicated to crafting innovative and immersive gaming experiences. We are seeking an experienced Art Director with expertise in 2D art direction and the ability to oversee 3D processes. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the artistic vision of our games and elevating their visual quality to new heights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define the Artistic Vision: Create style guides that reflect the essence of our games.
  2. Lead Creative Collaboration: Work closely with 2D concept artists, illustrators, UI/UX designers, and animators to manage the creative process and drive artistic consistency.
  3. Enhance Visual Storytelling: Optimize 2D animation and illustration processes to strengthen the emotional impact of our games.
  4. Oversee 3D Art Processes: Collaborate with the 3D art team to ensure seamless integration of modeling, lighting, and animation workflows.
  5. Lead the Art Team: Organize creative processes, optimize internal workflows, and inspire innovation within the team.

Requirements
  1. Expertise in 2D Art Direction: Proven track record of successful 2D art direction projects.
  2. Concept Design Skills: Proficiency in creating engaging concept designs, illustrations, environment, and character designs.
  3. Proficient Software Skills: Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate, with experience in 2D animation principles and tools like After Effects or Spine.
  4. UI/UX Design Expertise: Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to create aesthetically pleasing game interfaces.
  5. Effective Communication: Ability to clearly communicate artistic vision and direct the creative process effectively.
  6. Team Leadership: Experience in leading teams and managing creative processes.
