Chief Financial Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at Prospective Management Overseas - PMO. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to take on a key role in supporting Operations and Project Managers in financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations and Project Managers to prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring effective financial planning and control.
• Develop and maintain budget control templates to facilitate accurate financial tracking and analysis.
• Reconcile actual project expenses with budgeted amounts, identifying variances and providing insightful analysis to inform decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze fixed costs for our Turkey and Uzbekistan branches, identifying trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support project and business unit performance tracking.
• Manage the quarterly financial closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Perform provision calculations and support financial consolidation processes to ensure seamless integration of financial data.

Cash Flow & Forecasting

• Develop cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate financial planning and risk management.
• Monitor project expenditures and anticipate potential financial risks to minimize their impact.
• Support the finance team in managing cash allocation and project funding needs, ensuring timely and efficient resource utilization.

Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong focus on governance and risk management.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency, leveraging technology and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial data and analysis, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in financial controlling roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budget tracking, and reporting tools (Excel, Power Point, Power BI), with experience in using these tools to drive business outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and operational teams, to achieve shared goals and objectives.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with fluency in English and Turkish, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with French is an advantage, but not required.
