At Sabancı Üniversitesi, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, we are seeking a highly motivated scholar to join our team as an associate professor. We require a candidate with good communication skills who is willing to work collaboratively.
The ideal candidate should have a strong record and potential for top-quality scholarly publications, as well as promise of outstanding teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. A PhD degree in Materials Science and Nano Engineering or a related field is essential.
We are particularly interested in candidates whose research areas complement our current activities and are suitable for initiating interdisciplinary research with other programs. Key topics include materials science, nanotechnology, inorganic nanomaterials, energy, energy storage, battery technologies, Li-ion batteries, and hydrogen storage.
Candidates must demonstrate research excellence with articles published on these topics in international journals indexed by the Web of Science. A minimum of 13 scientific publications in the Journal Citation Reports top two quartiles or having CWTS SNIP score of 1.0 or higher are required. At least three of these publications must have no direct connection to the PhD thesis research of the candidate.
