Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in R&D projects to design and develop new products with optimal structural performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs with manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct literature and patent searches to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Analyze preliminary design drawings and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop alternative design concepts and propose them to the team for review.
  • Evaluate designs, documents, standards, and technologies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct prototype studies to validate design assumptions and identify potential issues.
  • Determine and implement design-specific tests to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Prepare corrective action plans based on test results and collaborate with the team to implement changes.
  • Coordinate the preparation and follow-up of mold investment processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD programs, preferably NX.
  • Experience with CAE software is a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
