Job Description

Gemak Group of Companies is a leading player in the ship/vessel building, repair, conversion, offshore oil and gas projects, and steel fabrications for the construction industry.

  • Prepare contracts or comment/amend client's draft versions and attend the contract negotiations with the related manager and/or executive board.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on contractual and legal matters as needed.
  • Provide critical recommendations on all standard and nonstandard contracts and negotiate directly with clients' attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus is reached.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Foreseeing potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
  • Collaborating with legal advisors to obtain legal support during the contract processes if necessary.
