Procurement Strategist

Karel invites applications for a Supply Chain Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives and managing a diverse supplier base to ensure consistent performance.

• Develop and maintain category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive procurement strategies and alternative solutions.

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering department and/or Business faculty.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Electronic sector (Defence, EMS etc).
• Good knowledge of MS office programs, and ERP knowledge.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving skills, decision-making skills under pressure.
• Function ability and experience in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Living or willing to live in Ankara.
