Job Description

Purpose of Role:

To control financial records for effective management, minimize deviations, and ensure necessary financial reports preparation.

Perform financial planning processes, prepare business plans for existing businesses, understand their current financial situation, review, and analyze business plans for new ventures.

Provide strategic and/or financial decision support to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead institutional planning and budgeting, including budget development, reconciliation, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Manage income-expense tracking, budget deviations, and financial performance analysis in coordination with all units.
  • Prepare, review, and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including executive management reporting and board presentations.
  • Conduct financial statement analysis, identify key business drivers, and assess capital investment costs.
  • Develop financial forecasts, trend analyses, and business plans for existing and new ventures.
  • Ensure budget accuracy and support the reporting process for effective decision-making.
  • Coordinate IFRS & TFRS financial statements, SAP BFC reporting, and the audit process for HQ and subsidiaries.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and decision support to senior management and executives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years of total experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar area.
  • Experienced in budget and financial reporting
  • Experienced in chart of accounts
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation (preferably)
  • Experienced in MS Office applications, ERP applications (preferably Oracle, BFC, Hyperion)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Business acumen and the mindset to understand and advance the organization's goals.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English written and spoken
