Overview of the Role

This position involves working in a center-based setting as part of a dynamic treatment team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data on client progress, and support family training.

  • You will be responsible for implementing behavioral plans designed by BCBAs, which may involve standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing behavioral plans in accordance with BCBA guidance.
  • Collecting data to monitor client progress and report findings to BCBAs.
  • Supporting BCBA-led training sessions for families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintaining clear communication channels with families, supervisors, and other relevant parties.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Prior experience working with children with ASD is preferred but not required.
